I'm really excited to announce my latest partnership with WISP. Right now, for International Women's Month, when you stock up on Plan B (https://lnkd.in/e9D25pDW) you get one of my Uterus Pins FREE! Plus they are donating a dollar from each order to Women's Reproductive Rights Assistance Project (WRRAP).
It is always incredible to work with amazing companies + non profits that stand for CHOICE!

Why am I sharing this with you?
Well, I thought we could break down this sort of “out of the box” partnership/wholesale deal for a teaching moment and explain a little bit of the behind the scenes action.
My hope as, always, with my sharing with you, is to help you create an aligned life, make money, and work with other aligned folx, while holding up your set of morals and principles. And I do think this partnership checks all the above boxes.
How I got in touch:
I was already working with Wisp. I reached out at the end of last year to work with Wisp on a more traditional partnership deal. My proposal then was to connect about creating partnered content about UTI care. I made the video with my husband, posted on the @girlgangcraft account, got paid for the content, and then Wisp spent ad dollars to boost the post.
Uterus Proposal:
After the content collaboration went live, I had noticed that the Artist Colette
had worked with Wisp in the past and had collaborated on a Vulva hair claw.
I used that as an example in my pitch and asked if they wanted to work together in some capacity with my Uterus Pins perhaps as a free gift with purchase.
They agreed and purchased 100 pins at my wholesale pricing. And I also offered special collaborative branding on the pin packaging. Additionally free of charge I made a special collaborative video highlighting the the project and collabed on Reels with both Wisp and WRRAP.
What can you learn from this collab?
It's always good to have projects not be a one off. If you liked working with someone and they liked working with you, proposing another project is NOT ASKING TOO MUCH!
Honestly, retail businesses are having a hard time. Yes, you should still be pitching wholesale to them, but the companies that have money are maybe not your traditional mom and pop retailers.
What sort of companies could make sense to pitch to? Could your product fit in with some sort of tech company, can your product be a free gift with purchase, can you team up for some sort of bundle?
It's always important to think outside of the box and find companies to work with that HAVE MONEY.
Bonus points to work with companies that share your values - like Wisp for instance who believes in autonomy, health, and choice.
What else can you learn from this? What did I miss?
